USS Bradbury Bridge Cutaway

Description

This is the bridge of the USS Bradbury NX-72307, the first Bradbury-Class starship, which entered service in service in the 2360's. The lessons learned with this starship led to the development of an improved version of the Bradbury-Class, the Intrepid-Class.

This bridge was done as a commission for SciFi-Meshes.com member Starscream. The Bradbury was based on this fan concept from the 90's, if anyone know who created it please let me know so that I can properly credit him/her.

3D model done in Blender, texture work and computer displays done in Inkscape

HI!

I've been a fan of your work for a few years now, but only recently re-discovered you while I was re-organizing my old ST files.

Interestingly, during that cleaning project, I found photos of a kitbashed model made in 1998 by one Marcus C. Nee, an alumnus of University of Michigan, using a Voyager kit with New Orleans-class (actually, Enterprise-D) nacelles. He called his ship the USS Mareja, NCC-76005, and posited that it was a quickly assembled Intrepid variant that Starfleet threw together during the Dominion War. (I prefer the idea that it's an Intrepid predecessor, what with its "off-the-shelf" New Orleans nacelles.)

I don't know if he came up with that old side view art you posted, but I hope this gets you closer to crediting the original designer...

Hang on while I try to find a link...

(does some more digging)

Here it is! His pages are still up; the link SHOULD get you right to his Mareja page.
