My love for a certain science fiction franchise and the ships that appear in it had motivated my imagination since I can remember being alive. That love eventually leaded me to design my own ships and bring them to life in my art, as well as trying to live by the message of peace and understanding that TV show promoted so long ago.

Interests
So, I've been super busy with my job and my studies, so not a lot of time left for my hobbies. Worst of all, my mother had a kidney transplant last month, so I suddenly found myself living on my own and having to go to the hospital to take some care of her, and after that I had to take care of her at home. She is doing fine now, luckily.

Anyway, it's funny how I always end up writing this journal entries to excuse myself for not posting as much stuff as I would want to. I have lots of stuff planned, new renders with my old models, new models, new logos, new everything. Of course, I probably won't be able to do half the stuff I want, and end up writing another journal like this in a couple of months. =P

Let's hope not! :D

The Calm Before The Storm by Rekkert
The Calm Before The Storm
Dammit, the electric grid in Buenos Aires is terrible. I had no electricity for the last couples of days at home, so I've been on the office a lot, limited to 2D work; I want to kill something, but as I can't do that, I did this instead! :P

Anyway, done using Inkscape, hope you like it!

EDIT: Well, now that my video card broke, and I'm using an older one, I can see that in several setups this image is extremely dark, far darker than I intended, so I added a far brighter background to create more contrast.

Thank you!! Yours are also very good, and far more original, mine are just based on NASA/Roscosmos designs.

Perhaps, but the truly crisp quality and definition of yours highlights to me the resolution limitations of the primitive tools at my disposal; I tip my hat to you, sir.

you might find this amusing... A few days ago there was a cartoon Frank & Earnest where they visited a wax museum. The caption was "This is Kirk; This is Bones; and this is Spork" where the artist drew Spock as a spork.  It was pretty funny
